The Diagnostic Adaptive Behavior Scale User's Manual and related Interview Forms are copyrighted and published by the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, 2017, all rights reserved.

The DABS can be used to determine whether individuals between the ages of 4 and 21 exhibit significant limitations in adaptive behavior. Because of the complexity of Item Response Theory (IRT) used in scoring the assessment, the DABS cannot be scored by hand.

This online scoring platform is designed for use by those performing DABS assessments as described in the Diagnostic Adaptive Behavior Scale User's Manual, and can be used at a nominal fee to both score the assessment and generate a score report that may be printed or saved locally. Assessors can pay as they go or purchase "blocks" of pre-paid assessment credits for future use. To begin, either create a new account or log into your existing account.
